Wedding Dress Adventures

As many are already aware, the future doctor is engaged to be married to her partner in dragon-slaying. She cried when he gave her the most beautiful amethyst ring in the entire world.

And then, the planning began!

Of course, the first task to accomplish was decided on a venue. It was only natural that the future doctor and the charming knight would get married in a castle. Once that was settled, it was on to the part that the future doctor had looked forward to since she was 16 years old- dress shopping!

As of the writing of this post, the future doctor has not yet purchased a dress, although there are contenders, none of which will be pictured on this blog.

She started with the fitted gowns, to make sure she looked at all her options, but quickly moved past them.

There were dresses with large satin skirts...

And dresses with obnoxiously large tulle skirts....

There were dresses with texture throughout the fabric....

And even a dress covered in stripes...

There was one dress that stood out from all the rest. But that one will not be revealed until the moment when the doors open for the future doctor to walk down the aisle to her charming knight.

Plus, she still has to go shopping at Kleinfeld in New York City, so there's that. 4 dress shopping trips down, 1 more to go!
